Things I’ve learned that might be useful to others

We all have various skills and unique knowledge that we’ve picked up along the way.  To some extent, each of us is a handyman and able to apply these skills and knowledge to fix some things while making a choice to not attempt repairs on others.   Often, repairs that will seem simple or better yet inexpensive to one person may seem to be unachievable to others.

It has been said that knowledge is power and I concur with that statement.  Unfortunately, much of this individualistic “how to” kind of information becomes a kind of tribal knowledge that is poorly documented, not often shared among others and easily lost.

Hopefully, by documenting some of this information here, I can avoid some of the problems inherent with tribal knowledge, make the information more assessable to you, and perhaps even help you save a few bucks.

Good luck & happy fixin!
